Quentin Tarantino is one of the most lauded directors in Hollywood today. His critical approval has in recent years also found him box office success, his last movie, Django Unchained was his highest grossing movie to date. His latest movie, The Hateful Eight, hits cinemas in the UK this Friday and looks set to be yet another box office success for the acclaimed auteur.

Tarantino’s least popular movie is also his worst. His homage to 1970’s exploitation movies is far from bad, in fact there is an awful lot of fun to be had with it but it lacks all the essentials that made his other movies so great. It is in many ways you can imagine the film Tarantino wanted to make the most out of all his movies but this is really just one for fans of the genre and Tarantino loyalists.
