Until very recently, we had John Cena pencilled in as The Undertaker’s opponent for WrestleMania 32. It’s a home event for the Deadman, as WWE try to attract 100,000 fans to the AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas. Cena was the perfect opponent for April 3 but, late last week, he announced a shoulder injury would require surgery and leave him sidelined for 6-9 months.
The roster is a little thin at the moment; Cesaro, Daniel Bryan, Randy Orton, Seth Rollins, Sin Cara, Sting and Tyson Kidd are all currently inactive due to injury. Sin Cara and Tyson Kidd, without meaning to sound harsh, were never going to feature in plans for Taker’s WrestleMania programme. But any one of the others could have.
So who’s left? We took a look at some potential match-ups for the Phenom.
